Women's Yoga & Cultural Retreat
with Vivian Duelli & Nancy Lea
May 28 – June 5, 2027

There are places in the world that stay with you long after you've returned home.

The Sacred Valley of Peru is one of those places.

After leading our retreat there this year, we returned to Seattle, and our first days back we said,

"We have to go back."

Not because of Machu Picchu—though it is breathtaking.

Not because of the mountains—though they seem to touch the heavens.

Not because of the yoga, the food, or the beauty—though every moment is extraordinary.

We are returning because there is something deeply alive in this land. A wisdom that cannot be explained, only experienced.

The connections we made—with the people, the traditions, the mountains, and the remarkable women who shared the journey—reminded us why we lead retreats. It wasn't simply a week away. It became a life experience that continues to echo long after returning home.

We knew before the retreat was even over that we wanted to share it again.

So, we invite you to join us.

A Journey Beyond the Guidebooks

Echoes of the Andes is a nine-day women's retreat through Peru's Sacred Valley and the high Andes—a journey designed to nourish body, mind, and spirit while immersing you in one of the world's richest living cultures.

Our journey begins by returning to Munay Sonqo, a place that quickly became home to us. Nestled in the Sacred Valley, it offers the perfect beginning—a sanctuary where we'll settle into daily yoga, meditation, nourishing meals, and meaningful connection while surrounded by the beauty and spirit of the Andes.

From there, we'll travel higher into the mountains, where our experience shifts from retreat to immersion.

We'll spend time in small Andean communities, staying close to the mountains and experiencing daily life alongside local families. Together we'll learn from artisans, guides, and wisdom keepers who generously share their culture, traditions, and way of life. Through these authentic experiences, Peru becomes more than a destination—it becomes a relationship.

Throughout our journey, we'll embrace the Andean principle of Ayni—living in sacred reciprocity with one another, the community, and the Earth.

Guided by Vivian Duelli and Nancy Lea, this experience blends intentional movement, meditation, cultural immersion, and meaningful connection.

Each day invites you to slow down and experience Peru not as a tourist, but as a welcomed guest.

Together we will:

  • Practice daily yoga surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes

  • Meditate, chant, journal, and receive sound healing

  • Visit Machu Picchu with spaciousness and reverence

  • Wander the colorful Pisac Market and share a traditional Pachamanca feast

  • Participate in sacred Andean ceremonies honoring Pachamama

  • Give back through a community service project rooted in the Andean tradition of Ayni—sacred reciprocity

  • Soak in natural hot springs beneath Ausangate Mountain

  • Hike among glacial lakes and colorful mountain landscapes

  • Connect with local families, artisans, guides, and wisdom keepers who generously share their traditions

  • Laugh, reflect, and build lasting friendships within a circle of extraordinary women

This retreat is thoughtfully paced, balancing adventure with rest, movement with stillness, and exploration with deep integration.

Vivian and Nancy create retreats that are welcoming, supportive, and thoughtfully curated—where every participant feels seen, encouraged, and inspired.
